YK Center is a for-benefit business created by Yehuda and Rivka Kahane and fueled by their shared belief that “there is absolutely no limit to human ability.” Professor and Mrs. Kahane support institutions and innovative initiatives that share their commitment to building a better future for their children, their grandchildren and all children — locally and globally.
To that end, the organization works locally in Israel to improve the quality of life of those with disabilities and their families, as well as to establish peace, safety and justice in the region. Globally, the organization leverages Professor Kahane’s life’s work and expertise in business, finance and higher education to advocate for and lead accelerated change in national and global institutions so that they may best confront the challenges presented by a New Economy shaped by rapid climate change.
Currently, YK Center activity is focused on the development of mechanisms, models and initiatives that address the multi-trillion dollar gap in funding necessary to achieve the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals by the year 2030.
